NBC Global, an indirect subsidiary of the National Bank of Canada, embarked on a complete upgrade of their office space in 2020 which is their European hub for trading and financial services in the region.

They engaged our services which encompassed CAD layouts, space planning, and optimisation along with furniture procurement, assembly, and installation.

Given the specialist nature of their work and their strong focus on well-being for their team, height adjustable, specialist trader sit-stand desks were supplied along with 16 electric, executive sit-stand desks to Management’s cellular offices. Ergonomic monitor arms were critical to the successful implementation of the electric trader desks so that each user can tailor their screens to accommodate their individual requirements.

On-desk power charge units were provided so that all staff could have easy and safe access to charging their mobile phones / personal devices whilst at their desks.

Privacy booths to facilitate informal meetings and break time feature in the kitchen area, in addition to bespoke tall tables of raw lacquered steel and solid wood tops to complement the exposed ceiling in this area.

Additional break-out space was created to offer the NBC Global team an area to hang out and relax, with Softline’s Me & U swings and a range of relaxed, break-out furniture including bean bags and poufs were used.

Another key element to the completion of this busy work environment were the variety of wall-mounted, glass magnetic whiteboards to facilitate huddle meetings and collaboration amongst the team.

Working in close collaboration with Peter Murray from our Interiors team, this was a project we thoroughly enjoyed seeing through to completion as the vision created by Giorgio Pavesio of NBC Global was executed to the highest standard and the furniture and finishes chosen truly enhance this renovated space.
