As a reseller for a wide variety of global leading manufacturers, we echo and promote their sentiment towards ensuring a positive impact on the environment. We are focused on working with and promoting manufacturers who invest in environmentally-conscious practices, those with sustainable processes at the core of their strategic objectives with rigorous and transparent processes in place to ensure a proactive approach to conserving and protecting the environment.

In addition to a stringent review of our manufacturer’s sustainable approaches, we as a company, have made a long-term commitment towards sustainability and managing the environmental footprint of our business.

A huge part of this commitment was implementing our QEHS (Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety) Management System in July 2023, which led to Bizquip achieving ISO certifications for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 in December 2023.

Bizquip are wholly committed to our environmental impact & the promotion of sustainable practices to ensure a net positive impact on the environment, both internally and for our clients.

We have made a long-term commitment towards sustainability, and have adopted a range of initiatives over the last number of years to benefit both Bizquip, and our clients:

Global Reforestation

Replating trees on behalf of our clients across global reforestation projects, in partnership with PrintReleaf, with a minimum commitment of 600 trees planted every month.

ISO Certified

Bizquip are ISO certified for quality management (ISO 9001:2015 environmental management (ISO 14001:2015 safety management (ISO 45001:2018 ).

100% Renewable Energy

Bizquip’s HQ is powered entirely by 100% renewable energy, equivalent to taking 197 cars off the road each year.

Electric Fleet

Bizquip have introduced electric vehicles to over 50% of our fleet in a bid to phase out diesel and petrol consumption.

Toner Recycling

Bizquip provide toner & parts recycling for our clients, processed with a zero-to-landfill policy.

Energy Efficient Technology

Bizquip partner with global leading technology manufacturers, all of which have a real focus on sustainability & the environment.

REPAK Membership

Bizquip are a certified member of REPAK, ensuring we meet our legal obligation to recycle the packaging we place on the Irish market, providing recycling reports for project-based client installations.

Ensuring our manufacturing partners share our values regarding sustainability and hold green certifications where possible such as LEED, GREENGUARD.

Sourcing locally & assessing supply chains

Supporting Irish and European manufacturers to reduce transport emissions & ongoing assessments of supplier’s supply chain processes.

Extended product lifecycle

Bizquip provide refurbished technology options when available, continued support for print hardware beyond their recommended lifecycle, and promote the repurposing of existing furniture and technology where possible.

HP / Hewlett Packard Carbon Neutral Programme

Bizquip is proud to partner with HP on its Carbon Neutral Initiative, offering certified carbon neutral printing in accordance with The Carbon Neutral Protocol. This programme reduces carbon emissions through high-quality carbon offsets that are fully vetted, certified to global standards, third-party verified, and aligned with multiple UN Sustainable Development Goals — including biodiversity reserves, wind power projects, and native forest regeneration. Set-up is straightforward and costs just €1.00 per device per month.

Ricoh

Ricoh is a globally recognised leader in sustainability, holding gold standard status and ISO 14001 environmental certification. Demonstrating its long-term commitment to the planet, Ricoh has pledged to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 63% across all manufacturing sites, offices, and vehicles by 2030, with a target of 100% reduction thereafter.

Humanscale

Humanscale, our task seating and ergonomic solutions partner, holds Level 3 sustainability certification — the highest available — and is the only major brand in the commercial furniture industry to achieve B Corp certification, joining the likes of Patagonia, Aesop, and Allbirds. All products are developed free from harmful materials including Formaldehyde, PVC, and Chrome 6, with full material transparency across the range. Their manufacturing facilities run on 100% captured rainwater, with 90% of electricity generated via solar power, and a zero-landfill waste policy in place. Humanscale was also the first in the industry to achieve the Living Product Challenge certification — the most rigorous sustainability standard set by the International Living Future Institute.

Actiu

Actiu's manufacturing facility is the only industrial site in the world to hold recertification for both WELL Platinum and LEED Platinum standards, with their WELL score rising from 82 to 90 points in 2024. All materials are sustainably sourced — desk systems use 100% recycled and recyclable steel, aluminium is drawn from automotive recycling, all wood is FSC certified, and their melamine is entirely formaldehyde-free. Actiu has also received the Green Good Design Award and the international BEX Award in the sustainable development category.
